Studies on the Effects of Seang-Banha, Kang-Banha and Cung-Banha on the Hyperemesis Gravidarum

Abstract
|
|
|
In order to study the effect of Seang-Banha, Kang-Banha and Chung-Banha on the hyperemesis gravidarum, experimental studies were preformed in pregnant rats.
The contents of T₃, T₄, β -hCG, gastrin, sGOT, sGPT, Na^(+), K^(+) were measured. The results were summurized as follows ;
1. In the content of serum T₃, Seang-Banha tended to increase, Kang-Banha and Chung-Banha tended to decrease, but did not show a significance.
2. In the content of serum T₄, Seang-Banha was not changed, Kang-Banha and Chung-Banha tended to increase, but did not show a significance.
3. In the content of serum β -hCG, Kang-Banha tended to decrease more than Seang-Banha, and Chung-Banha tended to decrease more than Kang-Banha, but did not show a significance.
4. In the content of serum gastrin, Kang-Banha tended to decrease more than Seang-Banha, and Chung-Banha tended to decrease more than Kang-Banha, but just showed a significance in Kang-Banha and Chung-Banha.
5. In the content of serum GOT, Seang-Banha and Chung-Banha tended to decrease, Kang-Banha tended to increase, but did not show a significance.
6. In the content of serum GPT, Chung-Banha tended to decrease more than Kang-Banha, and Seang-Banha tended to decrease more than Chung-Banha, but did not show a significance.
7. In the content of serum Natrium, Seang-Banha tended to increase more than Kang-Banha, and Chung -Banha tended to increase more than Seang-Banha, but did not show a significance.
8. In the content of serum Kalium, Seang-Banha tended to decrease, Chung-Banha increased more than Kang-Banha and showed a significance.
